This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Tambaya Factory (wet mill), in the Nyeri region of Kenya. Tambaya, derives its name from an indigenous tree called Mutambaya. The Tambaya Factory is managed by the Rumukia Farmers Co-op. Coffee is the main source of revenue for these farmers. With these earnings, families can provide education to their children, pay for their health and medical needs as well as investing in home and farm improvements. We are thrilled to share this delicious brew with you, exploding with tropical fruits and a richness of cocoa.
