Three people bring their cups of coffee together

COMMUNITY

Community Donations

At the heart of Montana Coffee Traders is our commitment to the community that sustains us. Supporting organizations that improve the quality of life in the communities in which we live and work is a role we are honored to fulfill. Montana Coffee Traders receives numerous requests each year and is able to donate to organizations only once in a calendar year. We attempt to fulfill as many requests as possible but cannot guarantee that every donation request will be met. Fill out a donation request form and we'll be in touch!

Café Monteverde

Since 1989, Montana Coffee Traders has partnered directly with farmers in Monteverde Costa Rica, paying premium prices independent of market trends. Each purchase directly supports community programs, environmental projects, and the long-term sustainability of the Monteverde community.

Always Fair and Direct.

Coffee Partnerships

We're proud to offer our line of partnership coffees, reflecting the values that shape who we are. Montana Coffee Traders collaborates with organizations making meaningful impacts to social, environmental, and educational initiatives. A portion of proceeds from each coffee supports the work of these partner organizations.

1% for the planet

Montana Coffee Traders is a proud member of 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of annual sales to support environmental partners around the world. 1% for the Planet is a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. Montana Coffee Traders is dedicated to being a positive part of people’s everyday lives, and we believe it takes many hands to protect the future and health of our planet. We are proud to support our environmental partners, Glacier National Park Conservancy and Vital Grounds, in the work that they do around protecting wildlife and making outdoor recreation accessible to all. Additionally, we stand with our social partner, Grounds For Health, in their mission to provide essential women's health programs in coffee-growing communities.
