This coffee is sourced from farmers organized by the Ichamama Factory, a wet mill in the Nyeri region near the Aberdare Mountain range. Managed by the Othaya Farmers Co-operative Society, the factory processes coffee from smallholder farmers with about half-acre plots, typically growing 250 coffee trees shaded by banana, gravelia, and macadamia trees.
