Ethiopia Aricha
Tasting Notes: Orange Blossom, Honey, Caramel
Roast: Light
From the heart of Ethiopia, where coffee's story began, comes our latest offering from the renowned Aricha Mill. Nestled in the misty hills of Yirgacheffe, this celebrated mill is known for producing some of the world’s most exquisite coffees.
Ripe cherries are sourced from 650 small-scale farmers, each averaging 5 acres of land. Upon arrival, the cherries are sorted for ripeness, depulped, fermented for 36 to 48 hours, and washed. The parchment coffee is then dried on raised beds for 10 to 12 days, with beans being turned every 2 to 3 hours during the first few days to ensure proper moisture reduction. After drying, the beans are transported to Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, for milling and final export preparation.
This coffee is highly praised for its captivating floral aroma and sweet flavors.
Also available as a dark roast.
