Nine women producers are behind this amazing coffee!

These women farmers are organized around Cooperativa Multifuncional Family Coffee (COOMULFAC), this coffee is grown in the Isabelia mountain range outside of Jinotega, Nicaragua.  The farms average 3 acres in size, and all the production happens there as the farmers use their own micro mills to process the harvested cherries.  This allows for meticulous care in depulping, fermenting and drying the coffee.

The cooperative helps facilitate final processing, quality control, traceability and storage for export.  With the help of the cooperative farmers can organize their efforts and combine their resources to develop social projects aimed at improving the quality of life in their communities.

This coffee is certified Organic by the Montana Department of Agriculture and Fair Trade Certified
