Kenya Karimikui

Tasting Notes: Hibiscus, Honeydew, Pink Grapefruit

This coffee comes from the region of Kirinyaga, along the forest line edge of Mount Kenya. The dewy climate, high elevation and volcanic soil converge here, resulting in some of the best coffees in Kenya (and some may arguably say, in the world). This area is fortunate to have ample water supply from the snowy peaks of Mount Kenya, flowing into nearby rivers and creeks aiding the ability to fuel the Karimikui wet mill. Washed coffees are a tradition for Kenya and this coffee is a fine example of that.
