Coffee Story:

Colombia, a coffee powerhouse located in South America has been producing coffee for centuries. Through good country infrastructure, including roads and technical support available to farmers, coffee from Colombia has received deserved notoriety over the centuries. Coffee producers here are cultivating their coffee on less than 5 acres of land in the cool mountain climates, highly suitable for specialty coffee. Once coffee is harvested, it is processed at their own micro-wet mills and then dried on site to a safe moisture content before final processing at an offsite dry mill. Colombia’s main harvest season is during the months of October and January. However, growing regions in this country are large enough with varying climate shifts, that a fly crop is also produced happening between April and June. This means Colombia is continuously producing, processing and exporting the freshest of coffee. The clarity and richness of flavors produced from this coffee are alive in both light and dark roasts.
