Coffee Story:

Our Colombia Medellin Decaf offer comes from small family owned farms located within the municipality of Medellin, in the Antioquia region of Colombia. Growers cultivate their coffee on less than 5 acres of land. After the coffee cherry is harvested, the processing and drying of the coffee happens at the farm. The implementation of onsite processing, allows for meticulous care in depulping, fermenting and drying of the coffee. Final drying, sorting and grading of the coffee happens at a separate dry mill facility in Medellin. From there, certain lots are selected through cupping, for becoming coffee without caffeine using the Mountain Water Decaffeination process. This process doesn’t use chemicals and preserves much of the inherent characteristics this coffee to offer. We took this coffee to a light/medium roast to accentuate all this coffee has to offer.
